Do you take insurance?
We submit insurance claims for Medicare only. The majority of our patients pay on a Fee for Service basis at the time of treatment and submit their receipts directly for reimbursement by their insurance provider, if eligible.  We provide detailed receipts to support your claims for insurance reimbursement.  Health Savings Account (HSA) funds may be used to pay for therapy services and related expenses.

What if I have to reschedule an appointment?
24-hour notice is required for rescheduling or cancellations. Late cancellation will incur a $70 fee. No shows will be charged the full amount of the missed session. We make every effort to accommodate our patients' scheduling constraints. 

Do I need a Doctor’s script?
No. Maryland is a direct access state so a Doctor’s script is not required, except for Medicare or Medicaid patients.  However, we will need your medical specialist(s) and/or Primary Care Physician's contact info so we can communicate if necessary to improve your care. 

What do I need to bring on the first visit?
Bring your ID (driver’s license or other) and cash, check or credit card for payment. Optional: X-rays or other medical information relevant to your current symptoms. 

What should I wear?
Wear loose clothing and comfortable shoes that don't restrict your movement. The area being worked on will need to be visible.

How long is a session?
The first session is typically 60 to 75 minutes. Follow up treatment sessions are typically 45-60 minutes, depending on type of therapy needed. Post –op patients may need longer sessions. 

Will I have the same therapist for every session?
Yes, this is a solo practice.

Does insurance cover Scar Release Therapy?
Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) is FDA approved but is not normally covered by insurance for Scar Release Therapy. We offer this service on a fee for service basis with payment due at time of treatment. Multiple scars or scar sites may be treated in a session. In some cases multiple treatments may be recommended.
